Shawls

Here are a couple of shawls I made a long time ago.

Bias-Knit Mohair Shawl

This was done a long, long time ago. I believe it was done using two strands of variegated mohair. It was knit on the bias in garter stitch. I have worn it a couple of times, but leaves me very, very hairy (on top of the usual dog and cat hair).

Lost Points Shawl

This shawl was a kit by Southwest Trading Company. The yarns used were "Bamboo" and "Melody".

I have never seen this shawl on you! Why have you been hiding it from me??? hmm? HMMM?

You're right - the Lost Points shawl has not yet been worn. However, the last time I wore the mohair shawl was at your college graduation.

I see you are not much of a shawl wearer, more of a shawl knitter. I have never seen the SWTC shawl before, it's an interesting design. When you do wear it is there a chance we can see a pic of it on? Bud could model it for us!

Chauntel is right - I'm not much of a shawl wearer. I will make a concerted effort to wear the Lost Points shawl soon. It is only a little over a year old, afterall! Don't encourage Bud to model... maybe I can get another family member to do it!

Say no more! Ross gleefully accepts the modeling challenge! (or maybe I gleefully volunteer him, which ever you prefer)
